What is the TikTok Shop dispatch deadline?
From 26 January 2026, regular orders must be marked In Transit within 2 business days of moving to Awaiting Shipment, evidenced by a real carrier scan. Miss it and the order counts against your Late Dispatch Rate.
The rule that catches sellers out is the carrier scan. Printing a label does not stop the clock. The parcel has to physically enter the carrier network and be scanned. If you are printing labels at home and dropping parcels off every few days, the gap between label and scan is where your metrics quietly go wrong.
What happens if your Late Dispatch Rate goes too high?
Late Dispatch Rate is the share of non FBT orders dispatched after the SLA. Above 10%, TikTok applies enforcement under its Seller Enforcement Policy, which can mean Account Health Rating point deductions, limits on your order volume, and extended settlement periods.

Why does TikTok Shop need a different approach to Amazon?
Amazon demand is reasonably steady and you ship stock in ahead of time. TikTok demand arrives in spikes. One video can turn a quiet week into hundreds of orders overnight, and every one of those orders starts its own dispatch clock at the same moment.
That is the whole problem in one sentence. The traffic is unpredictable but the deadline is fixed. The only way to absorb it is to have stock sitting somewhere that can pack and scan it immediately, including at the weekend. If you are going to run paid promotion or push a launch, tell us beforehand and we will plan staffing around it.
Should I use Fulfilled by TikTok instead?
Fulfilled by TikTok, or FBT, is TikTok holding and shipping your stock. Its main advantage is that FBT orders are excluded from the Late Dispatch Rate calculation entirely, so the metric stops being your problem.
The catch is the same one as every marketplace programme. Stock inside FBT is committed to TikTok. If you also sell on Amazon, eBay or your own store, you are splitting inventory across pools and forecasting the split in advance. Sellers who are mostly TikTok often prefer FBT. Sellers running three or four channels usually prefer one pool that can serve all of them, which is what we do.
What does TikTok Shop fulfilment cost?
Handling is 18p per unit, which covers receiving, inspection, product information and preparation for shipping. A polybag is 25p, so a typical polybagged unit is 43p plus the outer packaging. Storage is free for 7 days under 1 CBM, then £29 per CBM per month.

Can you bundle and create multipacks?
Yes. Bundling is 60p for up to five units all inclusive, which covers the polybag and the label, plus 5p for each extra unit. Multipack offers often convert better on TikTok Shop than single units, and bundling at our end means you do not have to buy pre made multipacks from your supplier.
Can I use the same stock for TikTok, Amazon and eBay?
